About us

Lighthouse started to operate weekend school in Croydon at St Peter’s Primary School early 2000. Turkish community started to grow as parents were passionate about educating young children and creating the social cohesion among youth were their first aim.

Trustees and members started to look for a place where they could come together and organize activities and services for youth and children in the local community.

In 2010 we moved to the current Eagle Community Centre, which has been affected, from the riots in London then building refurbished as of the current condition.

We have 4-floor building consist of large space on the ground floor with offices and basement floor used for community space.

Purpose built 4 classrooms available for tuitions, supplementary education in the first floor. Second floor rooms used for care taker and staffs.
