Beginning of the March every year Lighthouse Educational Society held event about World Book Day. In 2018 it was not different too. Children bring their own costume to the Saturday School with parents watching the different atmosphere in the school.
But regardless of the kind of books you like the most, the indisputable truth is that the world would not be the same without books. Books have been educating and inspiring us for thousands of years, so it should go without saying that World Book Day is a more than a well-deserved holiday and fun day for children.
Lighthouse organises book reading competitions among different age groups to encourage children for reading.
