We are delighted to announce that we have been granted Community Fund from National Lottery during the pandemic. We will provide wellbeing support for refugee families in London mainly Croydon, Sutton, Bexley, Greenwich areas.
- This will include
- Remote healing and befriending,
- Homeschooling advices and resource guidance,
- Story telling sessions for children,
- Psychological support,
- Language support.
- Project will make difference for refugees from Turkish, Kurdish, Cypriot and Azerbaijani and Central Asian community.
- Those struggling with language barriers, lack of employability, faced challenges on how to establish their families socially and educationally.
- These have worsened during the Covid-19.
- As recently arriving the UK without enough support and lacks how to cope with stress and neglect of children.
- It will benefit easing financial burden.
- Total budget of £9984 has been approved to use for these services
